The Code Compliance Department is committed to ensuring the health, safety and general welfare of the Town of Berwyn Heights through the enforcement and compliance of property, building, environmental and other regulatory ordinances and codes thereby maintaining the high standard of life and quality living.

Code Compliance is responsible for the inspection of publicly and privately owned residential and commercial buildings to assure that they meet the minimum housing standards and to ensure safe and sanitary living conditions for all residents within the Town’s jurisdiction. By administering a fair and comprehensive compliance program that corrects violations of municipal codes, our department enhances property values and preserves the community values that makes Berwyn Heights a highly desirable city in which to live, work and play.
